We are concerned here with converting from a given S.I. unit to another one. This is often required when doing computations with measurements, since all quantities measuring the same type of thing (for example, every distance measurement) should be expressed in identical units.
In the following table, you are required to fill in empty column. The first column gives the number to be converted. The second column gives the "unit" part of the number, while the fourth column gives the unit we wish to convert into. The third column is where your answer should go.
As an example, the first rows have already been filled in.
If you are having problems, consult the section on S.I. units.
After filling in all the boxes, click on the button at the bottom of the screen. The page will redisplay, except that any incorrect answers will have disappeared! You can then keep trying to fill in the right answers, or give up, as you wish.
WARNING: If you are entering a number between 0 and 1, you must a eneter a zero (0) and a decimal point first. Do not leave any space between numbers (so enter two thousand as 2000)
