Converting Between S.I. Units

(Weights)

As before, you are asked to fill in the empty column in the following table. The first column gives the number to be converted. The second column gives the "unit" part of the number, while the fourth column gives the unit we wish to convert into. The third column is where your answer should go.

As an example, the first rows have already been filled in.

If you are having problems, consult the section on S.I. units.

After filling in all the boxes, click on the button at the bottom of the screen. The page will redisplay, except that any incorrect answers will have disappeared! You can then keep trying to fill in the right answers, or give up, as you wish.

WARNING: If you are entering a number between 0 and 1, you must a eneter a zero (0) and a decimal point first. Do not leave any space between numbers (so enter two thousand as 2000)

20mg = 0.020 g
26g = mg
950g = kg
0.006g = µg
2.5kg = g
62000kg = tonnes
