In memory of the late Professor Joe Moyal, was awarded to Professor Peter Hall, from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at University of Melbourne and the Department of Statistics University of California at Davis. Professor Hall will deliver the 2009 Moyal Lecture on Monday 12 October 2009.
